The Ruben A. Cirillo High School Building Substitute provides consistent, high-quality instructional and behavioral support to students and staff by serving as the school's dedicated substitute teacher. This position ensures continuity of learning by maintaining a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment while implementing lesson plans and supporting the daily operations of the elementary school. The Building Substitute is a collaborative team member who demonstrates flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to fostering student success.
Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching authorization as required by state regulations.
Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to be flexible, adapt quickly to changing assignments, and work effectively with a variety of grade levels and teaching teams.
