Job Description

The Elementary Building Substitute provides consistent, high-quality instructional and behavioral support to students and staff by serving as the school's dedicated substitute teacher. This position ensures continuity of learning by maintaining a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment while implementing lesson plans and supporting the daily operations of the elementary school. The Building Substitute is a collaborative team member who demonstrates flexibility, professionalism, and a commitment to fostering student success.

Job Qualifications

• Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching authorization as required by state regulations.

• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.

• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to be flexible, adapt quickly to changing assignments, and work effectively with a variety of grade levels and teaching teams.
